Hi Brad,
I understand from Cord that you guys have a problem getting parts off Rally Design as they won't sell/export to the USA for some reason. But it just so happens that I have exactly what your looking for in my garage 'Brand New' and originally purchased from Rally Design.
Qty 1 Forged Steering Coupling (Pt-No RD820F) £18.80 + Vat = £22 and Qty 1 Steering Column Shaft (Pt-No RD849) £19.50 + Vat = £23 so in total £45
Postage to the USA I will have to check, but both items weigh together about 1kg, so as a guide DHL Express approx £25 dependent where in USA.
Am not looking to make any profit but happy to help out another MEV Builder so long I cover costs, send me a PM if your interested.
(I want to hear that 'Beast' of an engine running soon ;D)

(I want to hear that 'Beast' of an engine running soon ;D) nigel You are correct, RD wont sell to us. To 'litigious a siocity' they say...sad that i agree with that. I went ahead and ordered the adapter from borgeson, well see if it fits. If not I'll be sending you a PM good sir The component that Car builder solutions and rally design sell I think is also used in a fiesta. but I am not sure if the fiesta was ever sold in the land of uncle sam cheers mattsmev We got 2 versions of the fiestia here, it was called the Festiva. I actually pulled the u joint i originally tried off a 2ng gen (to US at least) one in the junkyard but it didnt work. The 1st gen festiva is kinda rare here, no one wants to sell them b/c they get like 50 mpg and are great to throw bike engines into. Thanks for the help guys I'll report back; hopefully successful.

Shouldn't this post be in the tech section ? I cant get access to the tech section. Brownies right Brad, I suggest you follow the link on the Forum "How to get access to the Technical Section" under Notices and Admin. As an Owner I don't think you'll have a problem, you might also find 'the Management' just decides your threads Technical and moves it the the appropriate area in the Technical Section anyway. I've just realised You've never been in the Technical Section. Hay get your password and get in there, there's lots of easy to find good helpful stuff as well as access to the latest versions of the Build Manuals. nigel
