It was a good day. After the morning i got more confident that the car was not going to break mid lap and started to push a bit.
My cuz had a hard time of it having never driven the car before then told to go a quick as possible. Spent much of the day changing at 4k revs which was interesting....think Paul have a video of meandering round the track but he enjoyed it non the less.
Need some new tyres as the current arent great. After going in Pauls rocket i think some R888's are the way to go.
Lots to do over the winter now.

Was great to meet up with everyone down at Llandow on Saturday, tomaff and his cousin along with welshy1 and slugshot even popped over for a passenger ride in the Rocket  Over 600 photos and 4 GB of Video...I'll update this thread later !  |

Good day shame I couldn't get the exocet done in time but still had a blast in my mx5 ran around the morning in a set of crap tyres and was doing roughly 54s laps lost a passenger and swapped back to my toyo t1r's and managed to get down to a 52s lap which I was happy with.
Did manage to loose it going into the first corner as the back steeped out caught it and ended up going towards the cone decided best to hit it with my number plate than the side of my car, made a mighty bang as it went under the car just cracked my number plate a bit more.
Apart from the was a really enjoyable day and cant wait to get out with the exocet and good to meet with paul and tomaff.

Thanks to Paul for a ride in his well setup rocket, if you've built your own and not yet done a trackday I would give it a go. While I was at Llandow I got the nod from the circuit management to allow MEV tR1kes on their trackdays. |
