Hi All, I will be there as Curborough is quite local to me, but just spectating as my Exocet is nowhere near ready.
Cheers

I'm booked on. I did the first pre iva with no bodywork - what a laugh and a great way to bed the car in. 2nd even fully road legal but a hiccup with wiring only gave me 3 cylinders for a few hrs.
3AMM was a disaster - halfway up M40 realised i didnt know where the keys had gone..... totally lost them BUT I did 4 other track days last summer and has the suspension professionally setup.
So bring on the 4AMM - Its great fun and a chance to poodle and get a feel for the car, or thrash the b@11s of it.
See you all there....

Way hey, I was worried that I had pre booked something else, but the track day gods have smiled on me and my other event has just been canceled, which is great news for me.
Mattsmev, mrs mattsmev and miss mattsmev are booked in as drivers/passengers and the money has been payed. what a great event this is, a track to our selves and good weather guaranteed by Nigel
I really hope this gets enough support to run, if this falls through I'll be really up set, and so few car clubs can do this sort of thing we must make the most of it.
I just need to book a trailer now.
Thanks Nigel for making this stuff happen - you are a legend, - btw - there is a picture of your old car on this thread and someone has touched in the black and white photo to make it look like it was taken on colour, they even have the blue and white colours right.
we will help with set up, paperwork, marshalling and clearing up too
many thanks again
Can't wait
Mattsmev

Well done Mr Matt, I don't think your bow tie will be required for this event though, but it would be great if the girls made the effort again!

Great to see some more members booking A little surprised that more people aren't coming along to watch It's free to spectate and if your in the process of building it's a great opportunity to look over other members car's you never know you may even get the opportunity to ride shotgun! nigel

In fact Nigel let me ride shotgun at the first AMM......in the very same lesser spotted Sonic . It certainly gave me a nudge along as far as getting my Sonic on the road. And as Matt says, Nigel does guarantee nice weather too! Martin

Is this where I state I want to attend as a spectator? I may decide to use the track yet but can't make up my mind, I've never been on track before and will probably be the slowest there..... I might only be able to stay for a couple of hours.

John - go to thread "4th AMM - list of attendees"; you'll find some voting buttons at the top there that you can use. But there again.....don't do that! Don't hesitate about signing up to go on the track.....there really is no pressure at all, and no-one cares how fast anyone goes. You'll regret it if you don't. If you sign up too, that'll be 3 tR1kes.....and then only one more and you'll have enough wheels between you for 3 proper cars (...only kidding Kevin and Nick, and all the other tR1ke builders out there I've yet to meet! ) Martin

I'm planning to attend in what will be a roadtrip weekend for the Mrs and myself. We're going to the Festival of Speed on Friday and coming up from there to Curborough.
Hope to meet you all there!
Cheers Barney

Like Martin said..no one cares how fast or slow you go, its just a great day out where you can have a go on a track on your own with no one trying to race you.

Well besides Mabbs who decided to leave the track, I got banned for 107 DB at 5000 rpm..... The noise guy sticks around for about an hour or so. I will be leaving the track for an hour this time
