HI, sorry haven't had chance to introduce. I bought an Exo R some 3 months back in UK, but as it was not being used for past 1 year engine and brakes were in bad shape so after some engineering, fabrication, brake upgrades etc the trike is up and running. Re tyres, it was running motorcycle/scooter spec tyres and bump steer at 60 MPH onwards was scary. I did take it to 85MPH but it was really scary. I am running now 125/80 front and 145/60 rear as car tyres and almost no bump steer. It is a must to be safe and steering feel is planted when driving.
Now looking for some formula 1 types monotubes. Not sure if worth spending as much on it but strongly leaning towards it. Have done dyno and played with carbs, need more to fettle with engine.
Will keep you posted.
Best
Babr

Hi Edward,
What a perfect end result on your eco exo r, read trough the details and they are quite supportive for my current eco exo r build.
Greetings,

It has been a great and reliable vehicle for me. I cannot wait till Spring to be on the road again.

Hi fuoriserie
Are you asking about the rims? They are stock 2005 front Burgman 400 rims.

Roger got some spindles from a Honda Goldwing that were solid and used his lathe to turn the end down a bit. They fit the Stock rims perfectly and not being hollow increases the load and safety a bit.

The spindles/axles were from a 1980 - 1983 Honda Goldwing GL1100, and yes they needed to be turned down on a lathe. The actual diameter is perfect, but to increase the use able length the rather long head was turned down by about a lineral inch.

Fuoriserie: just a heads up.... the axles i used from the 80-83 GL1100 were front axles. Use the nuts as well. You can cut them down and they add a nice look.

Love the pin stripping, a real class act. I wrote a piece for Kit Car magazine re vinyl wrapping and remember mentioning the go faster stripes on a famous Gran Tourino. To wrap or not to wrap770.pdf (1.05 MB)
