Wow, thanks Dave!! It is all Rogers fault! He just was never satisfied and kept pushing and pushing;) I am lucky I have any fingernails left. LOL
Hopefully the pin striping will be the icing on the cake. Just a delicate touch should work out well.

Nice photo-shoot Eddie. The trike looks fantastic. Seriously, this is the true potential of the Eco-Exo. It shows well, and looks professional grade. I believe if Elio saw this, he would be nervous. :-). And.... like I always say, the will always be "Just one more thing". Life is good.

"Just one more thing" Since I had some time before spring I decided to tackle one last thing. When I made my seat pad I used 5/8" neoprene for the pad. After driving it last year I found out after about 2 hours I was a little sore. I decided to make a better seat pad and after thinking about it I decided I could still use the cover I made by sewing a 2" wide strip to the top plate and reattaching that to the fiberglass pan with contact cement like before. I was not sure I could take it all apart but taking my time and a couple hours later I ended up with this. I was able to get some 1" memory foam they use in aircraft seats and got it cut to shape. I also ordered a little bit of black Alcantara suede to match what I already had for the sides. As soon as it arrives I will be able to finish the seat pad and be much more comfortable on my rides this year. That's the way it is Eddie, "JUST ONE MORE THING" and then you're done. What is the next "LAST" Thing you need to do? ? I know I am finished until the next thing comes up. It will look great. You need to put all that foam in the seat and take it out to your trike and sit in it for about 45 minutes while you read the paper. You know, get a "long duration comfort test" before settling on anything. I am sure it will work out. More pictures when you complete the job. Roger Worcester, Massachusetts

I was able to test two density's of memory foam and found the medium soft the most comfortable when sitting on it. I was able to get a piece for no cost so that helps. Reusing my seat pad top and just extending the sides also is a cost saving. I also was able to get just the amount of Alcantara suede I needed so the price was greatly reduced. I will get the fabric tomorrow so by the middle of next week it should be done.
This was the last little detail that bothered me on my last ride so better to get it done now. Big snow storm tonight with 8-12" of snow so getting ready for that.

I finished my seat pad today and did a test ride. What a difference that makes! It feels like sitting in my Civic. Nice and cushy. Edward 20160330_165937 by evanbelkom, on Flickr

No, it is just about right Erik. It is firm but not hard.LOL It actually got more comfortable the longer I rode it. I am really pleased with it and makes the ride so much more enjoyable.

The only mistake you made Ed was not Making two of them. Actually, I am happy with mine. It is pretty comfortable, and it fits my riding style quite well. It was warm here today, but the wind was howling I thought about a short ride, but decided not to risk the odd branch or dead tree falling and me being at ground zero.
Your trike is the poster child for a job well done. Anyone that finds fault with your build is just jealous. Now wipe that S.E. grin off your face. :-)

Pretty tough after taking it out for a spin yesterday.LOL
That seat pad made all the difference but I only had a tee shirt on so it was a quick 1/2 hour trip.
Thanks for the complement and you too Erik and Dave.
Just the last little pin striping detail on April 18th and she will be totally finished. I hope. Pretty sure. Can't think of anything else right now. Mind is blank. I need a drink:)
