Ahh okay, is your photobucket set to private?? If you just post your photobucket account link i will see if i can view it. (mine for example s275.beta.photobucket.com/user/Richard_Stubley/library/Exocet this is just by copying the url when you are in your album on photobucket) It seems to be a photobucket issue not a pro boards issue Rich

Okay I've just tried uploading like I do normally and it didn't work, so it's definitely not you. Noticed the pic I was trying was uploaded via the iPhone app, could you try uploading one from your pc and see how that goes??

Hey Mark,
Aye RTR asked me to get on here, lots of people asking about the first kits apparently. I was going to wait till I had more progress. It's quite informative on here though, I've been scanning through peoples build pages, get some great ideas and hints and tips.
Thanks to everyone wishing us well with the build, best go make some progress
Dean

Little bit of progress this afternoon, decided to start stripping the Hayabusa down to get the radiator out. Such a shame to be stripping such I nice example apart, was almost tempted to keep it and try and get another. ready to drop the radiator off stripped a bit further, Any electrical connectors we've disconnected, we've been labelling to make life easier later down the road. Anybody interested in buying some busa bits? ha

Only a little bit of progress today, front hubs, discs and callipers mounted. Actually this has created a couple questions. On these alloy hubs, when you dog up the axle nut, how much preload do you put on the bearings? Also how are others locking these nuts, there not nylon lock and the split pin hole is miles off?

As for the tension of the nut, I was told by my expert mechanic that I needed to tighten the nut up to the washer infront of the bearing then turn it back half a turn as the bearing will expand under heat generated but the rotational friction of the wheel.
I think most have used castle nuts, can't remember the size but if you look through Ade's rocket build and the tech section I'm sure the size is there.
