From what I understand you don't have to book space to camp, well I hope not at this stage 1 week to go, otherwise we will be pitched somewhere else ;-(

We have booked space number 49D for MEV cars and 54J for tin tops/camping. These spaces are only yards apart with a road between. Should be plenty of room of both pitches. But it does look crap if the MEVS are mixed up with tin tops and tents. So main entrance, right on to second street, camping on right MEV's on left.

Hi Guys
The forecast is currently looking OK for coventry airport, which will make it feel most unlike Stoneleigh car show.
We (the Mattsmev clan) hope to all be camping over, can any one remember what pub we went to last year on Sun night? I can't find it on the map, I can only remember the near death experience on the way back to the site and Dinosaur juice upsetting the security guard and legging it, leaving me to explain his actions.
See you next weekend
Cheers

Hi Bob
Can easily lend airbed, sleeping bag and a teddy if you need it. We're a bit short on sensible tents. We can share a cooker and kettle
Hope to see you this weekend
Cheers

ive broken my d'ocket got it mot'd, insured, and taxed yesterday... went out for a drive, hit a pot hole, and now have a very wobbly RH rear wheel I think the bearing carrier has stretched to an oval shape or cracked, the whole hub/disc/wheel is rocking whilst the upright plate is still i REALLY hope i can make a temporary, but sound, repair before sunday. I think you should be OK if you leave that wheel off and drive without a passenger, the balance will be fine but if not get Aid to drive, OR get ya welder out, you will find that the 2 bearing halves have parted and as your version does not have a nut to wind in then the steering wheel nut will have to use a hammer, welding is perfectly acceptable for sealed bearings, they just get hot and loose all the grease. No problem! Hope you are in the AA (not the alcy one). Just get there and ring them up to take you home, you can even have a few beers and still get home safe!

Dam good memory Will
How many will go out for a meal on Sunday night, Mattsmev are three, any one else? shall I book a table, or shall we see how it goes. We can book on the day or even send someone out for a takeaway if we don't fancy leaving the site
Hope you get your car sorted. A jubilee clip should hold it all together OK, or if you don't have enough room a tie-wrap might be OK. Seriously, will the docket be there?
Cheers
Matt

I grew up on a farm 5 miles from the red lion. Nice pub. And good food.
Well I will be at stoneliegh on Sunday as it is around the corner from my house. But I will not be in the exocet. Paperwork is not going to come through in time to get plates etc made. Annoying but I will come introduce myself at the mev trailer park

Im trying to avoid bringing any cooking/eating equipment this year... so if anybody could provide a bacon sandwich monday morning it would be much appreciated ... cough... mattsmev.... cough
