Looking good, and congrats on the child.. Now there's more than one demand for your time eh?? I know from experience how the projects grind down when there's a newborn.

Another 'new arrival' during the past weeks I've been a bit quiet. 2.0 Zetec.

First fit of Joker's great accelerator pedal. Made an extension plate as others have done to drop in line with the Wilwood pedals.

Very innocent looking engine, how is it to be molested??

It will stay 'tame' for now. The OMEX ECU arrived from RTR a few days ago. That's as far as I will go to start with. Even this base configuration will be plenty while I learn to drive the rocket.

Sweet.. Watch the bolts securing your pedals on, you'll need a few threads through the nyloc Can't wait to see this progress over the next few months.

Bottom bracket extensions made for radiator. That gives plenty of room for pipes etc... Just need to tackle the top brackets next

Hi huggy, massive congrats on the baby! my little one has just turned 1yr on saturday, it is an amazing thing but sure does halt the kit car building progress!lol. looks good what youve done so far, it does look like you need to space the go pedal out a bit furthur as it looks like it is contacting the steering column, and when you turn the wheel this could get worse, im saying this as i fitted all mine, and then it all fouled each other! so i had to take it all off and re-mount it all over again. Well keep it up and keep posting the progress, Wayne.

Thanks Wayne. Belated Happy Birthday to your little one!
Thanks for the sanity check on the steering. Can't take any chances with this or the brakes after all. Tell me about it re. the clearances in this area. It was tighter than I first imagined it would be. Played with spacers and positioning etc... while doing the bulk head so think the final fit should clear.

i drilled out all neat in the bulkhead for the masters huggy, then when you need to strip it all out to change a small thing. i ended up just cutting the corner out. i didnt want to but needs must. as wayne said, the column will turn eccentrically and move closer and further from brakes/throttle

Thanks Paul. Not sure i've actually managed neat :-) I'm going to persist and see if I can do it this way, otherwise go with your suggestion, given the restricted adjustment scope I currently face.
