I have the same dash, and I've had a clumsy attempt to make a centre console to accommodate it, what have you got stopping it from falling out towards the driver? Literally just made a small bracket, braced between both sides of the console. Will take a pic in the next day or so and post. It's not particularly elegant however feels solid enough.

Have you tried sitting in the seats with the harnesses in place at all? The holes look a little high looking at how my position is in the seat and i have the same seats as yourself-im 6ft btw-so if your taller that may explain it. Sorry to come across like im picking fault but thought it better to mention. Wayne.

Thanks for pointing out.

The holes need to satisfy the IVA requirements, that's the important bit. I can't remember the exact details but I think there is a min height above the reference point (your backside on the seat) that the upper anchor point has to be and then the holes in the seat need to be positioned so that they don't made the belt/harness change direction or the seat become part of the structure for the belt anchorage. Something along those lines, I remember the IVA man checking mine with a measuring device. I'd check the IVA manual for seat belts, seat belt anchorage and seat strength.

Yeah, that makes complete sense...lol... Indeed :-) You were right guys. Just a bit too high as the belts were just touching when I sat in seat. Easy fix luckily, just a bit late to finish today. Thanks for pointing out the potential IVA/safety issue.

Harnesses fitted. Note: the seat holes were enlarged thanks to the feedback a few posts back. Bigger than my original plan, however still feels strong and very luckily I don't mind the result. I worried I would hate the look of the holes being too big hence feel compelled to upgrade the seats much sooner than planned. Had the harnesses made ready for eye bolts at the bottom and bolt in at the top. Why..., I gave up looking for eye bolts of the correct grade that were also long enough for the job at the top, while at the same time, using clip in fittings at the bottom simply seemed to sit / align much better. Steering wheel fitted: That just leaves the bonnet (using Kiwi's hinge) and the wings. Not looking forward to fitting the wings.
