Delighted to report that Complete Kit Car magazine will be showing their newly registered MEV Exocet at the show this year. Unfortunately due to the organizers changing the date of the show MEV will not be exhibiting this year. I understand Bridgwater College will be showing their newly completed tR1ke though. RTR will be exhibiting at the NEC that same weekend of the 27th/28th Oct at the MPH or Top Gear live show.

Well what can I say about the Exeter Show? It had less stands this year including the car stands, i.e. no Mevs. It became apparent that they were missed this year. I went down to buy some parts for my other project and because I had my Mev jacket on quite a few people stopped me and asked if I was anything to do with Mev. I explained that no I had my own Mev but was there to buy parts for something else. Out of the people that stopped me 1 person was very keen on buying one so I pointed him into the right direction with the phone number for RTR. So hopefully that will still be a sale. I also bumped into Simon Burt of Bridgwater College, he was very interesting to speak to and could also come across as very useful in the future. They had built a fantastic looking Mev Trike. He is hoping to do some kind of event in the new year, he might need some moral support from the likes of us, will let you know more at a later date. Hope that Team mev had a good day at the Top Gear, lets hope next year the shows don't collide again as the Exeter show was a very sad show.

Agree with everything you said very dissapointing show very little in terms of manafactures but a good mix of cars outside and did get some bits for my exocet build. Allthough did have a good look round the tribute stand with the ferrari body rep and d type rep using a mx5 and spitfire.
Hope for better next year.
Im up for a show/event that the guy from the college is organising let me know if i can be of any help.
