A little more progress last week and today, ;D Engine in and plumbed up, Gear cables, Handbrake etc,,, Started wiring today, But due to relocation of Battery and Master Relays and fuses, it makes it slightly more tricky, More soon,,, Scott

Scott, earlier on you said you were sending the chassis off to be coated. It looks more like nickel or chrome. What did you go fon in the end? Must say it's looking really tidy. Looking forward to seeing some more inspirational photos.
I especailly like the kitchen units in some of the photos. It's my idea of a perfect kitchen - space for a car, a kettle and tea bags (and a cupboard full of Jaffa Cakes!)

Hi,
Yeah its definitely Powder coated Chrome Effect,,,,
There is only one Company that do this on the East Coast, but i think he said he wouldn't do more chassis this size again, but many people can be persuaded with cash ,,,,
those are full of biscuits don't really like Jaffa Cakes !!

Squeaking Fan Belt I remember it well, although Glen didn't suffer this problem both me and Stuart did, the reason is the tension pulley is pulling in the opposite direction now, fix is to either introduce 2 tensioner's as I did or replace one with a fixed pulley. I will look at my pics and web write up and post in the tech section this weekend for you if you like. Keep up the good work, will it be ready for Stoneleigh ? nigel

Cheers Nigel, How annoying is a squeaky belt, any info would be grate, I have tried to adjust tensioner tighter, and also added a second idler none tensioning pulley between crank and Alternator, but it still B***dy Squeaks Glad its not just me, Stoneleigh !! Who Knows Im Trying Scott

Think I have sorted the Squeak, added Pulley between Crank and alternator, adjusted tight, and also put a fixing in the Self adjusting Tensioner, seems to work a treat,,
Oh and managed to roll the car in gear to relaese the stuck cluch plate ;D ;D
Hopefully getting close to the end,,,
