Don't worry Barry you can fly me across and I will give you a hand, especially when its sunny which will probably be all the time over there.Really Barry just do a bit at a time and it all soon disappears. Am hoping to fire her up by the weekend if everything goes according to plan,so will probably be next month before that happens. Cheers John

Well I tried starting the engine today :'(No joy!!!! She turned over and sparked but no fuel.Took all the electrics apart I had made such a tidy job wrapping and taping them up,checked double triple etc Borrowed a fault finder ,no faults????Had to go and do a good deed in the afternoon and didn't get back till 6pm. Went into the shed and stood looking at it and wondering, wondering what idiot put the fuel and return round the wrong way. Swapped them and she fired into life.Switched her off quick as cooling system not all connected up this was just a trial. The elation that it worked, offset the downer I was in all afternoon. Will be getting water and exhaust systems going this weekend. Then body, wheels, lights, etc etc but the big worry is now gone. YIPPEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!

Well lads its been a long time since I made any posts on this build, the car is all but finished seat belts to go in and re bolt the seats to the floor. Getting time off is a big no,no at present,so won't be booking her in till later on in the year,as I have already said. On good thing with all the overtime is a bit of spare cash so got a trailer to ship her about, after looking at some very poor examples I got a new one. Also as I said I needed a new shed started it last Monday evening get back at 7.30pm so have to work late to try to get it done. Pictures show progress as tonight, had the whole day off and just kept at it. Unfortunately the three good mates I have in this world that would have given a hand, two have died and one has broke his back, all in the last three months. So did this myself with a couple of quick holds from my good lady wife, don't let HSE on site, some of the things that were going on were ****!!! dodgy, but the worst is done. Enjoy pics.

Great job on both the car and the workshop there John. I was just wondering if you fancied road testing that lovely new trailer by brining your Sonic7 down to the AMM this weekend (Be a great opportunity to give the car a good shakedown before the IVA as well as letting us all taker closer look at your quality build) nigel

Nigel I would love to come down,I really do need a break.Big problem working Saturday again, and maybe Sunday though this hasn't been confirmed. Would also like to get workshop finished ASAP,to allow sonic and the Atomic build to progress in a new home.I really should back up a bit but you never know these days if you will be in a job next week so as they say trying to put a buffer in place. And if not needed then another kit will be brought home. I know, I should shake down the ones that I have, I am just a magpie and like shinny things. Must admit this kit building thingy really is interesting, already have one in mind but since it is not MEV/RTR will not mention it on this forum. Chucking it down at present so no shed building will go out at tinker with a few bits and pieces. Cheers for now
