I hopefully will be going to Newark in the expect as I've now paid for the IVA test so just waiting for the call and date I was going to stoneleigh but my mum has finally got the date to remove a brain tumour which is on the Tuesday before so I'll be caring for her as she'll hopefully hopefully be let out of hospital on the Saturday (fairly major op where the cut the skull open)

Hi, I will be there on the Sunday, if all goes well with IVA tomorrow and the follow up paperwork I will be driving up in the Rocket. If I have a problem then I may have to get it up there on a trailer Looking forward to seeing all the builds as as many of you as possible. Regards JimK

Delighted to report that the Mazda racing team will be displaying MX150R's on both days next to the MEV owners area. Anyone interested in racing should speak with the guys.

Nope, the Rocket is not for sale, and not made by Robin Hood.
The simple truth is I belong to too many kit car communities. Allow me to explain...
The MEV Group (thats you lot) is a national group of one make cars, we are growing fast and special events just for us are appearing on the calendar, it's a great place to hang out online and share MEV specific issues.
The Bristol area Robin Hood guys are a small group of quite close friends. The Robin Hood group have a formal constitution that we may want to consider one day. The Robin Hood group is open to anyone with an interest in cars, so regardless of my 'hoodless past I am welcome. None of my friends drive 'hoods any more, but they are good fun to be around and I do lots of things with then throughout the year.
I am also a member of the Bristol Kit Car Club, another great bunch of local lads, I wish I had enough time to do even a small amount of what they have going on, a great bunch of blokes.
So with fingers in too many pies the Stoneleigh show in particular is a difficult one to do.
I hope that explains

Despite my issues at Stoneleigh I will be in full attendance at the MEV days at Curborough and Mansfiled.
I have only just noticed the 30th June Mansfield date has been cancelled, so we will go to the 18th August event instead.
Curborough event has been great for the last two years, so will all be in attendance
Cheers
