Hi all just been phoning up for insurance and found a company that would insure it for parts only can get it for £115 Has anyone took insurance out like it before Ta andy

Hi Andy, is this based on your car only? or does it cover the full cost of the third party in the worst case of it being your fault. Steve

Hi Steve just phoned them back and say if I crash in to the back of someone I will get the parts to fix mine and they will get their car repaired as u would So that is fine If I have someone crash in to me I then go though their insurance and my car gets repaired by them If it gets nicked and not found I get a new kit Now have got the right amount £££££ insured to get a new kit Ta andy

Hi Kevin it's with 2gether insurance 01945232030 And just had a email from glynwood insurance and they have just come in at £121.46 full comp now don't think that is parts only Ta andy

ive got 2gether parts only insurance. seemed the best option and was half the price of adrian flux, footman james and alike.

Seems like a really sensible option. I've been thinking about what type of insurance is the most suitable at the moment because iva won't be until June (ish) so no chance of me driving into anything (or being driven into) but the build is worth a few quid now so need to protect it against theft. I'll have to give them a bell and see what they suggest.
