I'm fine! Just shocked how slippery roundabouts are after summer!!
I like my wheels tough and hate to source new ones. I'm pretty PITA on this. Took me a long time to select them and now the fenders fit snug on the wheels it's even harder to find one with offset 38mm. I may be able to correct offset on the fenders with adding washers to the fender brackets but haven't looked if the offset needs to be higher or lower for this. Just waiting on a reply of the distributor on monday.
If I have the front wheel to be repaired and repainted I could have the spokes painted in wine red like the chasis which could be awesome but more expensive as intended. It was as good as I want it to be.

That's a shame Eric, accidents with Dutch tR1ke's is getting a little common... What I don't understand is, you managed to lose control at 15mph!! Was the road surface that poor or was it also wet or diesel covered, if not surely you could claim compensation or at least make sure they repair the road.
Cheers Kevin

Sorry to hear. Hope you are fine.
Roundabouts can be very slippery. Especially when it is on a route for buses because they tend to spill diesel quite often. However loosing control at only 15 mph... Is your throttle pedal oversensitive?

the tarmac surface of this roundabout is as shiny as in front of a stop light (heavy trucks passing through). We have several stop lights over here which one will pass when braking hard... the lenght of the tR1ke doesn't fit sideways on the roundabout at all so something will be hit. Luckely only the wheels got crooked. having the stock sprockets should make the throttle respons a bit tame but I accelerated very gentle. I suspect the marangony rear tire is to blame as well which does only drift in the high rpm range on straight roads (where the tarmac qty in the centre of the road isn't worn out). Yes the throttle response is quite agressive hence the manual throttle lever I added.

Glad your all ok and the tR1ke isn't too bad, the rear is quite lively and I don't think any amount of throttle pedal adjustment will make it loads better, anyway at the end of the day our tR1kes are meant to be very fast and light weight so it's always going to be fun :-)

Thx guys for the heads up.
The Wolfrace Olympic I have are out of production and not in stock anymore. Hope to bring the wheels in for a repair tomorrow and see what's next. Right now I am strugling to find a posh alternative. crossinf my fingers the repairs are at acceptable costs.

Hi Rik!
Yeah I consider my self very lucky!
The only downside is the rear rim needs to be locally heated and formed back to shape, which means the Alloy needs a few weeks to harden before the tire can be mounted. I do hope there is still some time left to enjoy her this year... Still I am not complaining. Could have been much worse ;-)

Hi Erik, that is a real good quality build you have there. I love the decals on the front wing and the attention to detail is excellent. I wonder if you would mind sharing your track width with us. I am attempting to ascertain the idea set up in terms of wheels offset, upright type and wishbone length. This information will be much appreciated.
