Well, that was my first kitcar show and I must admit I enjoyed it and I think the missus did aswell. Some really nice cars on display especially by RTR, but I really had the hots for the AC Cobra's on show maybe a project for the future.
Need to thank Paul and Leighton for bringing some items to the show for me and also for answering my questions unfortunately the missus now knows the budget I told here I needed for the build has come and gone and will Keep going.
Now have some ideas for a speedo, lighting and ecu (OMEX 600 + WIRING LOOM).

Many thanks to Will and Aid for putting in great efforts with the music and awning. Thanks to James in his smart Rocket for coming down too. 3 MEV's inc E1 and E2. Nice ride over even though it rained, we are not made of sugar. I was the last one to get my meat out, waiting for a clean place to warm it up. Great BBQ

3 is excellent considering it is a low key show. Any one going in a MEV on Sunday please post a pic for us. Attachments:

I have to say that i found the show a big disappointment, i went Today (Sunday) hoping to see at least 1 Exocet as i needed to look at a few bits on it, but None where there. i also think that inside bingley hall there was only a handful of Exhibitors, and no Exocet of the RTR stand , i know its only a low key event and does not have the backing such as Stonleigh, i overheard many other people who where also disapointed about the show, maybe i should of gone on saturday.

Yesterday was poor as well, the only bonus was not having to pay to get in & 10% off at CBS!

I too went yesterday (saturday) and was very disappointed. Bingley Hall was quite empty with very few exhibitors. The outside area was almost totally empty. I'm used to the Classic Bike Shows here, they fill all the halls and the outside area and they cost the same to get in.

as ive said i was planning on going up to the show and staying both days but im kinda glad i didnt go as it sounds like it wasnt that good i even got as far as loading the car on the trailer and the bits in the van but late on friday night i got offered this and being a big Williams fan i couldn't pass it up as it only happens once a year and is normally for the family of staff at Williams so today i took the car down to work for a shake down test which went well, just a few minor bits to sort through

I've been on the Williams open day a few years ago. Mind blowing
I have worked in aviation and munitions engineering all my life but these guys are on a different level. the machine shop is simply amazing, and the exhaust welding man must use filler wire and magic dust to do such an amazing job. Did you see the surface table in the assembly shop - it's easy to spot, it probably had a car parked on it - it's that big.
I suspect it was better than the stafford show. I went last year and it was quite poor.
Well done to those that went. it's important to see MEV cars at all these shows.
