Like a lot, Many thanks for a great day with loads of great people again, very happy with my GoPro camera, rollbar is an ideal mounting place, and mounted in a way that the donut eating force cannot prove any speed being driven :-) Will have to play around with external Mic's as the engine noise drowns out any conversations I was having with Kevin etc:, Track is entertaining and unforgiving, but good fun, I look forward to it all again next year, and always look forward to Curborough.... Hope the weather is kind in weeks time, will play it by ear and hopefully arrive friday night, or failing that Saturday morning. Will try and remember the bulbs for Mabbs, great video footage by Mrs Mabbs by the way :-) Will edit and upload my video footage as soon as its done. Cheers again everyone :-) Nick

Got home about 8.10....just dried out now! Suffice to say the worst weather I've driven in for some time coming home, rain literally bouncing off the road, and puddles right across . I really must drill holes in the seats - 2" of water in each one by the time we got home! Anyway, still smiling (and speaking!) after the journey. Thanks again to Jules and Stuart, and to everyone else who was there that helped to make it what it was....a grand day out And congratulations to Mrs Carbonbob for venturing out behind the wheel! ;D Martin and Linda

What a great event and a great couple of days. What other manufacturer offers this level of entertainment. Really enjoyed myself and was great to meet so many Moggers. Think the smiley faces say it all... Marc (& Alex)

Yep, health & safety chose 2 volunteers, put them in yellow vests, handed them a broom each and pushed them down the pit to sweep between car changes. They did a great job under pressure as you can see in the video evidence. Don't think there were any more spins after that, non-intentional anyway :-)

Here is 1 of my runs, sorry there is no sound my external mic got water logged on the drive there. I would also like to thank MEV for making it well worth the soaking we got. I wish i could of stayed longer but never mind there is always next weekend....Surely it can't rain again.

Many thanks for a great day out, great company and cool cars what could be better.
On the way home in the rocket there was the most torrential down pour on the A1. I managed to get my lights on and the car slowed to 50 before I hit the worst of the standing water, with my visor up so I could see I was not ready for what was about to hit me. Then it hit an almighty puddle water rushed up my legs inside the water proofs up my visor into the helmet down the inside of my jacket. Somehow the car kept going straight as I blinked at about 1000 blinks per min to see again I honestly thought I was going to drown before crashing. After the initial shock I giggled all the way to the next lay by where when I got out of the car another good few litres of water came out of my coat. My phone was speaking in Chinese and lost its settings and apps, the only problem the car had were the indicators flashed by themselves for a while. Anyway after a change of gear and a fresh jumper I was heading home again.
It has not put me off driving the car in rain quite the opposite it is still really good come rain or dry, oh and the phone works again too after a reboot.
Once again thanks for a top day.
