Day 32! A quick word of thanks to Scott for the plentiful advice and excellent quality of the kit, Stiggy for the design and all followers for the kind persuasion. No pics today but the fuel, cooling and brake systems are all but completed, some minor tightening to go on the bodywork along with the bracketry for holding the skin down and I'm going to start extending the wiring loom next. The inevitable break for family time over Xmas will mean the next update will be in the New Year (Though I may sneak an hour or so here and there). My spring deadline is well in sight now. All that remains is for me to wish everyone here happy, healthy and hearty wishes for the season. May your lights be bright and your nuts stay tight. ;D

Hi Andyp57
Forgive my parochial ways, but i tend to check the rocket part of the site and ignore most of the other build areas. I have just found this thread and it's great. Great build by you and great to see the eco exo being built (in possibly the smallest build space i have seen).
I have driven the eco exo at the moggers day, it's certainly a fun drive. You will love it.
good work, keep going

Hi Scott, Not quite running yet but it's mechanically about there now. Sorry about shortage of updates but with the weather and the bow wave of work at the start of the year, I had to either do or record. You know how it is ;-) The Cooling, brakes, fuel systems are complete and the only tin bashing I've got left is the rear bulkhead. Electrics are looming (geddit!) and I'm ordering a heap of bits from CBS to finish it off. My aim of a spring outing is still a good prospect.

Where's he been? I hear you say. Fear not gentle reader, I've been busy in the wings and have continued to make good progress on the beast. As I mentioned earlier, the cooling system is now complete, the last item being the mount for the overflow tank: And a personal nightmare (Though I don't know why, as once I got on with it, the job went together ok) the extension of the wiring loom. For this, I separated the plugs and connections into four sections, 1. The Engine bay, where I started by lying the loom along the left hand side and connecting as I went on, exending where necessary, then after that, all the loom at the front which neatly partitioned into: 2. The 'Lower plugs' including the handlebar joints 3. The 'Upper plugs' which were the Fuse box and the speedo connector, then 4. The 'Dash' which included the ignition switch and the console. Measuring and extending each of these areas I ended up with a 'Snake' loom which, now bound with insulation tape, looks somewhat like it's swallowed a goat halfway down it where all the front joints are together. So what now? Well with this done, and all fluid systems all but sealed, I'm aiming for 'Power on' during the weekend with a possible engine start if I'm feeling brave and all systems look ok . I'll let you know ;D

I just jumped the gun with power on. It all lights up ok and no smoke but I've got to put coolant in and check the oil before I actually try a start.

Add to the ease of build the factors that it can be built in a SHED with no special tools and it's a winner
