They are 17" but it is also on standard springs, I think a little lowering is required

Nice! The door handle is not fitted so that will disappear when painted white. I think your right with the balck headlamp reveal too. I was going to go red but "Lightning McQueen" came to mind!

well done Stuart, now I understand you are so busy besides the exocets going well! Luckily we continue selling the left hand drive exocets for the continent and maybe this one as well as the steering position is no point here...... see you at newark

Personally i'd get it on some 16's with the lowered suspension and that will look tremendous!

One other thing, Stiggy. Have you tried this on a car with a roll cage/half roll cage? Think there will be any issues?

OK, I was very intrigued by the pixellated pictures of the red panels, but seeing the full car makes it look like something I would love to build and own! I'd go for 'dropped to the floor' with wheels tucked under flared arches, maybe a matt black or carbon finish paint job, and a slight redesign of the front to make it more of a 'scowl' than a happy face. Throw a few mods on the MX5 engine to make sure it matches the outside, and I'd be very happy with the outcome.
I'm currently saving up for a 40th birthday present of a Sonic7 kit, but since there's a couple of years between now and then I'll be very interested to see what else you guys come up with. MEV definitely seem to be one of the last kit car manufacturers willing to experiment, and it's all getting the thumbs up from me!

Did those plans to fit the MEVX5 body to a Lightweight Exocet Body ever get anywhere?
