Looking good. How did you recover the rivet tails from inside the chassis tubes ?

Looking good. How did you recover the rivet tails from inside the chassis tubes ? i cut a section out of the front chassis tube (beneath grill) large enough to tape hoover to. unfortunately theres still a few rattling around so ill shake them to one end and inject some expanding foam. Nigel: Im actually building it back up in the order the build guide suggests. i read the whole thing through properly last night and its actually really good, dont know what all the winging was about. will

Hi Will
When i built mine i injected Wax Oil into each hole. I thinned it with white spirit which will evaporate off and leave a waxy substance in the chassis. If you do something similer it will also stop the rivets heads rattling round
Just an idea
Cheers

evenin moggers' had a productive few days: i wire brushed all the wishbones and gave them a coat of gloss black powdercoat, it gives great contrast against the green. i wrapped the engine bay in carpet before lowering in the beast, now scratches, yet..... Many thanks to ade (jetpower) for donating a gear stick from a mondeo, some hefty modification and it now pushes and pulls the right direction and amount to work the 6speed box. going 'home' for a few days, i might take some small bits to paint just so i dont get withdrawal symptons! ;D ;D ;D Side panels and bulkhead have been cut from composite board and bolt in. nice and easy to remove. Gearshift now all working better than ever thanks to some teleflex outboard motor control cables. Started plumbing in the brakes. will
