Well disappointing turn out for MEV Owners Just the Eco-Exo and Will's Rocket on the outside stand!! With pretty much sunshine most of the day Even Mattsmev and family made the effort to come without the rocket all the way from the west country,, good effort Matt,, along with Nick an his teardrop caravan, plus a few owners that are in the build process who were coming to see some MEVs and get some advise,, As usual Mev & RTR made a big effort and deffinetly the best stand by far, with the MEVX5 getting plenty of interest - well done stiggy i like it,, And Well done team Mev, Was hoping to see what Nigel had been upto with the Sonic but as I can't make tomorrow I will have to wait for the leak when it next comes out Scott

I took a few snaps. I put it on the TR1KE area under Newark :-) Thanks for posting Nick, gutted I couldn’t be there, but couldn’t be helped. Looks like a lot of effort was put in by Team MEV just a pity a few more MEV Owners with cars didn’t turn up in support, me included. Be the first Newark show I’ve missed in years. Anyway no point in moping of what could have been. Just have to make sure everyone supports the AMM next month. I must say its nice to walk round a static show, but its no comparison to seeing the vehicles in action on the circuit. If anyone got anymore pictures of the show including some of the MEV cars on show and the 'Extremes' playing then please make the effort and post for those that couldn’t make it. nigel

On the bright side, even though I couldn't go myself I heard that the band on the Saturday night were ace!
Does anyone know who they are and are they signed to a record company?

Frankly I was perplexed, we put in massive effort for you guys and almost no one came, a little rain would not hurt anyone, it was fine most of the weekend. There are hundreds of MEVs out there I can only assume the owners must be made of sugar! MEV's do work in the rain, you just need a waterproof coat. The MOG area was a total embarrassment, there were lots of potential customers around looking for owners to talk to.

Hi All Would like to thank TEAM MEV for the MASSIVE EFFORT they put into the show. They made myself & my son so welcome I would like to thank them for there hospitality. I Would also like to thank Matt & Will for there friendly chats and Matt's inspiration to get stuck in and get my kit finished in time for the Stoneleigh kit car show next year. I was a bit gutted at the poor turn out from the mev owners as I was hoping to look at other sonic kit to steel some ideas. One or two Photos Stiggy with his new toy Stiggy doing his other Job ;D Thanks again to Stuart Julie Matt & Will Andy & David

Hi all my son and I really enjoyed our day at the show (except the bit where he got a major public bollocking for disappearing for an hour). Thanks Paul (I still owe you that beer) and Layton for putting up with all my questions, and Venom for our brainstorming at the stand, reverse is a done deal now and my mechanic friend said that shortening the manifold and rerouting the exhaust to free up the rear frame for the motor and bracket is a peice of .....well you know. I am definately ordering my TR1ke in the next couple of months and will be going for a test run very soon. I was a bit dissapointed that the Mev Owners didn't show up in numbers but hopefully I'll be there in mine next year and as I heard a romour that it's the 30th show next year let's hope we can get a big turn out. Thanks again to all there.
