Complete Kit Car magazine have decided on the top three cars for the "car of the year" competition, sworn to secrecy on the other cars but I can tell you they collected our Sonic7 today for a 2 day test. Very exciting. Don't suppose they will tell me which is the winning car until it goes to print but I may try plying them with alcohol tonight.

Looks like some sqaushing is required. All in all a very good report. The Sonic7 came a predictable third as the other 2 were in totally different price brackets. They were both 50 year old designs. A Westfield at £25k and a Cobra at £35k against our £6k Sonic7. Our kit car scene is sat in a time warp for the most part! It's nearly 2010, we don't wear flares any more, so why do so many wish to be seen in a plastic replica when they could choose a Sonic7, or am I a little biased. So the Sonic7 was voted 3rd to best of the year. That will do me. I hope all Sonic7 owners are pleased. Bear in mind my car is what I call an honest demonstrator. Nothing fancy, soft settings, slow rack, over size wheels, rubber band tyres, thats how I like it. Attachments:
