A few years ago, I was about to buy an Exocet kit from MEV, when I saw an advert for a part-built kit. I went and looked and bought it for less than the price of a new kit. Much of the work done was fine, but I stripped it and started again...I just wanted to. It was chassis number 63, so quite an early one. Once finished and IVA'd, I drove it around a bit and then flogged it.
Since then, I've had a Sylva Riot and I've got a Fisher Fury that needs a new ECU and then an IVA retest.
A couple of days ago, I saw an advert for another Exocet, part-built, kit. It's pretty much just the MX5 skate with the frame bolted on, so it's a rolling chassis with all the bits (I hope) to build it up. I'm excited again! Now to make space in the garage!
