Hi all,
Having been in love with cars for decades, finally it becomes more real to build my own track car!
My name is Chuck and I have just moved from Hong Kong to UK for about 6 months. I am so interested in building my own car for long. Despite I have no practical experiences in doing the actual work on my car (it is nearly impossible for HK as our space is so limited), I have watched literally hundreds of YouTube videos about fixing / overhauling of different cars, mostly BMW (I am still driving my Z4 here in UK!). I will have my own garage soon so by that time I will order the G-Type conversion set and build one for my own. Currently looking for NB 1.8L around GBP2,000. I aim for this price level as I do wanna drive a real and healthy MX5. This is kind of a childhood dream, yet the priced up NA should be the one. I wanna make sure the engine and drivetrain are all good before stripping it down to the kit build.
I found this forum not very active recently but I bet there are lots of valuable information regarding the build which I will read them as far as practical. Any suggestion is welcome and I hope to join the gathering to meet all of you very soon.
Thanks for your acceptance in advance!
Chuck

Welcome! The forum has gone a little quiet recently as a number of people have moved over to Facebook. The information regarding build diaries is great on here though. The link to the Facebook group is here www.facebook.com/groups/1436641923014209 One of the builders has put together a Wiki which is really useful as well exocet.wiki/doku.php/
