Cool! Looks like an Exocet and Can-am Spider as parents! I like the chasis design, especially the roll bar and tank area look great. Too bad the r1 tank doesn't fit the tR1ke chasis, like the Rayvolution trike.
What make is this kit?

New weight and height of the tR1ke. Empty tR1ke: Left front 108,4 kg & 16 cm Right front 106,4 kg & 16 cm Rear 148,4 kg & 14 cm Total mass of 363 kg
Tr1ke (363 kg) + driver (= 89 kg) Left front 146,4 kg & 12,5 cm Right front 115,0 kg & 13 cm Rear 190,6 kg (= calculated) & 11,5 cm
When braking very very hard. Passengers (right) front wheel locks. Sounds logic to me because it has lowest mass to press the wheel on the road.

I assume at higher speeds the front is forced downwards creating the stability and ease while driving.

It's remarkable your tR1ke is heavier as 325-350kg showed by Bas's advertisement tough you haven't chosen very heavy parts and it doesn't look overbuild as well. I wonder what it would take to meet 325kg (smaller wheels, single tank are all I can come up with for this moment)
any suggestions?
br, Erik

Additional weight of my tr1ke I can think of: - A solid aluminum dashboard - Additional heat shield to reflect exhaust heat - My center tunnel is raised and goes all the way to the front - All electronics and battery are installed in the front of the car. So a reasonable amount of wiring has been added - Swirltank and extra fuelpump are not really necessary - Chair rails - 363 kg is with fuel topped off - I emptied a full spray can of tectyl in the lower parts of the frame. - I abused a person scale for weighing. Accuracy is 3%? So a +/- 10 kg accuracy?

Likely Bas has used rtr information for his advertisement.
So perhaps rtr scale is too optimistic?

hehe, right now Bas advertises the tR1ke fits diesel engine+free from tax. I wonder what he has been drinking!
Still i am suprised you added 13kg up the max weight of the tR1ke which is quite remarkeable. You didn't use 17"wheels. Yeah, I guess RTR is quite optimistic LOL!! Still not an issue at all because it is still well under 400kg limit. I'm looking forward placing mine on a scale later on.
greets! Erik

Putting the driver on a firm diet, will also significant help saving weight .... ;D

With person scales, mine weighed 395 kgs but RDW weighted it at 356 kgs (full fuel), a significant difference... I do have havier seats than you, they weigh about 12 kg/each. But I tried my best to make it as light as possible (small battery, no reverse mounted etc) to stay below 400 kgs for approval. After the approval, I think I added about 20 kg of extra weight (extra battery, reverse motor etc) and I have added standard equipment: tyre repair kit, first aid kit, tools, rain suit. I think it weighs about 380 kgs now, including all af the above.
The driveability does absolutely not suffer from the weight...

Next spring I will weight my tr1ke on a calibrated scale. (on Dutch: weegbrug)
I agree Tr1ke has > 400 hp / metric tonne. Enough to have a 30cm smile on your face while accellerating. :-)

hehe I agree with you Edwin, big smile when accelerating.
The tR1ke is the only car I could afford to buy with 400hp/ tonne

Since weeks finally got some time to do some improvement. Based on Slugshot his experience got myself a R6 dogbone: The R6 dogbone is thicker and a bit shorter than standard R1 dogbone. Polished and installed it: Rear end of the car has raised about 1 centimeters. Total of 15 centimeters now. My car lift now just fits under the rear end of the car. Mrs Edwinwl was very kind to help me measuring car height: Tr1ke (363 kg) + driver (= 89 kg) Left front: 12,5 cm Right front: 13 cm Rear: 13,5 cm After adjusting the front the car should become leveled out.
