completely reliant on the stud extenders, not indexed. Not great, but very cheap if you don't mind a little wheel wobble. They have been using these since the 60's. Minis with flared arches used them but if you tighten the studs too much they pop off under load!

The wheel spacers that IVA inspectors do not like are the universal ones with stud extenders, as shown here; How does this even work?? I changed bulbs 3 times and nothing worked. Sadly not alone on this and lots failing here. Even the suppliers now state that they won't be suitable for Iva. Pity as they are the only small ones that look ok on the kits without going to 5 3//4 size ones.

Went for retest today and the first 5 bits were done in about 5 minutes. All good. Lights, we got those lined up and tightened up fine. Fog light works a treat. Emissions were a bit tricky though. Lots of warming up, trying 3k, 3.5k, 4k, 4.5k revs all to see what each the h2o and lambda were doing. After trying a few things like taking off the cone filter, turning the inlet round to be outside the car to help get cold air in and the numbers were coming down. h2o hit the mark and lambda wasn't far enough. lowered the revs back down a bit and we finally hit the mark.
PASS
FYI, I had to use some bottles of cat clean to get this through. Anyone with a ME221 or Emerald ECU could likely map your way through this no problem. Either way, we are happy and now just to get the registration process done.

Well done on the pass, now time to enjoy your efforts. I used the Cataclean as well - only a few pounds at Halfords so money well spent as I had smokey engine prior to using it but it passed on testing. Hopefully getting number plates wont take too long and you can get out on any dry days we get. I have retest Monday so interested to hear when you get registration through.

Congrats! All the years I've been seeing you at Stoneleigh without a finished car, then they go and bloody cancel it! Looking forward to seeing it in person. Finally

They only go through the fail points (although he did ask if I'd changed anything since........) I think he said they can then refuse to issue the cert if changes have already been made but I don't know if that's true or not.
