Hi just a couple of pics of the atomic.I know the manifold is probably going to cause some problems but should get me through IVA and will make them all the same length next winter. I do like the style though just a personal thing. Cheap to build.

Well I thought it about time to update on the Atomics progress.Well its a sunny day so the Atomic was out on the road to try her out.Obviuosly on private roads as she is not registered yet. All I can say is OMG she squirms all over the road when any hint of power is given.Will need to put good quality tyres on her after IVA. That is of course if I do put her through? The year is moving along and time available is very limited due to work. I might consider selling her as an unfinished project. I know terrible but really after driving her I don't think it is going to be my cup of tea, apsolute hooligan,and at my age I think not.She still needs a seatbelt and speedo healer to get speedo at correct figure,mirrors,apart from that I think thats about it.If anyone is interested PM me and will discuss price. Not going to be greedy but not going to give her away for nothing.Some pictures to look at.

I must thank everyone that showed an interest in my Atomic. After being out in her again a couple of times and did a couple of small tweeks, I must say she is very civilized if not bonking mad at the same time, so with ;D she is going to stay in the garage for sometime yet.Hopefully IVA will happen in April. So will be down loading the forms and bolting on mirrors in readiness. Got a couple of DB killers to try and take the sound down a bit. Everything else has been fitted including the speedo healer. Will put some finished pics up shortly.

How does it compare to the Sonic? Any way similar or completely different ball game?

She has now got a IAC certificate,she passed today. Great! Got the day off to take her for a test downside have to work weekend,so not going to the moggers fun day this weekend. These things happen.So two mev kits down whats next?? Will have to wait and see.Cheers to everyone and have a GREAT weekend

BRILLIANT JOHN well done. Just noticed the colour too. I had forgotten your choice but guess what colour my MEVX5 is now? That's right, imola orange. They must have had a batch of it at RTR and used it up on my car! Stunning pictures very soon, just to tempt you John.
What's next? May I suggest a third MEV so you can have a hat trick.
Sorry you can't make the weekend, good for you, I may have talked you into something, perhaps a MEV Spyder with no IVA required, or the MEVX5 that it is based on.
You can spend hours refurbing all the MX5 stuff and then even drive it in the winter!

Well, I can now say that the Atomic is finished,new registration arrived in the post today. Will post some final pictures when I get a chance. Now what???

Well I thought I would post some pics of the Atomic in its finished state,I think it looks good and the colour is great thanks to RTR there suggestion.
