I have bought a private plate, and have the certificate of entitlement V750 (the plate is "G"reg and the donor is a "W"reg, so no worries there). Once the Exocet has passed the IVA (he says confidently...) I want to get the car registered with this new reg. I get that I have to send the V750 off with the V55/5 (and V627/1), but do I put the new "G" reg on the V55/5, or leave it blank? I have visions of the forms getting separated at the DVLA and getting assigned a random registration, then having to get a replacement V750 etc etc...
