One quick question on IVA application before submitting application. I have entered axle weights that I recall seeing on the forum somewhere. Weights by -Tojeiro 74-Can’t recall if this was for Excocet however, are the weights stated sufficent for the Replicar (including trim, carpets, big wheels, etc) Is it better to err on side of caution and increase ? V5 for Mazda was 1562kg unladen. Thanks

Blimey! 1562kg!!! I think that's got to be a misprint! Unladen weight of a MK2 Mx5 is around 1025kg. The axle weights need to be the other way round on your form - i.e. axle 1- 600kg and axle 2-500kg. (There is a thread 'IVA Compliance' in the Replicar headers above the build threads which, admittedly shows the axle weights on Stuart's IAC as you have written but he has stated previously that these should be the other way round.)

Cheers, guess that’s where I got it from, started filling in weeks ago with info and could not remember the source, did think it was a bit odd being heavier at rear.
Weight on the V5 is unladen ‘revenue weight’. Guess it’s just to raise extra tax £
Application going in tonight - proper deadline now !!

Design weights are what the axles are capable of carrying. Design weights allow for 2 salad dodgers and a full tank of fuel and a weekends worth of camping gear. IAC results are actual weights at time of test plus 2 people at 75kg each. Cars submitted for IVA are supposed to have a full tank of fuel. My IVA did not allow for luggage as there was no boot at the time.
