Hi Paul I am going to use the same fuel as hose you have. Can you tell me what connectors you used or how you terminated/sealed the braided hose to the pressure dampener engine side and the fuel tank? I have the same mk and yr donor as you.
Also did you keep the donor clutch hose or shorten it? Cheers

Cheers hi buddy, I used the original fuel connector from the manifold to the fuel damper and from the tank to the damper I pulled the brade back and heated the tube and forced it over at the tank side and engine side put the brade back and double clipped it with fuel clips. I kept the clutch hose and fastened it to the fire wall, hope this helps

well,
car drives superb been out a few times all is good. I drove it to work and they loved it I felt a bit uncomfortable with all the good feedback but was nice. I picked daughter up from school and she became the coolest kid the next day (not sure I wanted her to get all the attention from the boys at 13 lol) my plans are now to fit the spoilers but taking my time as want to get it right, just making a list for winter of things id like to do. I fitted after market steering wheel and quick release but could not get on with it so reverted back to standard MX5 wheel much better for road use.

Hi Paul
How long did it take for them to register your exocet? I have been waiting nearly 4 weeks now and no sign of anything changing online. Spoke to them last week and they said it was all fine and they were working on it.
Also how are you thinking of mounting the spoiler?

Spoke to them last week and they said it was all fine and they were working on it. Also how are you thinking of mounting the spoiler? hi Ian, it took 4 to 5 weeks for my paperwork I just kept looking on dvla car tax checker with original registration and when it finally disappeared (reg not recognised) it was on its way with new reg that they assigned. as for rear spoiler im making some mount templates and when I get them right I will try and find a company to cnc them for me out of alloy or steel. im going to mount them of the rear upright from the shock mount to the frame and the rollover bar as I think it would be suicide to mount it of the rear tank cover as if it came of it could cause some real damage to what ever it hit or go through the window of the car behind. hope this helps cheers Paul

Hi, my first post here. I had the same issue with a mk2.5 and the negative switching. I happened to have 4 relays knocking around so tried it out with one of them and problem solved. On the attached image it shows (most) of the wiring colours from the original MX5 and the single round lamp from MEV. I hope it helps someone else out there with a winter project on the go!
