Hello I've been wondering - replicar hard top?
Reasonable idea? Total rubbish?
Any concept art wizzes dare to create?
Just something I've been wondering about the past few days.

I did try a screen and frame from an MGB and it was about the right size. I wonder if a soft top would be more realistic than a hard top, no moulds required to make a rag top and they could be rolled up and stuck in the boot. Any guy that makes tops for boats could make one. We need a volunteer who is good with SketchUp or Adobe illustrator, anyone, anyone?

I'd love to see a concept and yeah soft top would be cool - I'm a GRP enthusiast so naturally went for what I'd be more comfortable doing. I was thinking of something that bolts on and off .. It was the guys in the frog eye sprite on top gear that race that boy racer style 206? That made me think bolt on and off accessories are cool on classic looking cars.

Lol is that like the Mevster one Stuart that's held on with a bag of bolts or.... over centre catches, pref with a proper seal against the back edge of the screen. The 7 boys tend to clip the soft top to the top edge of the screen to ensure water gets in!
