Rocket is crying out for this new sound track, 250 bhp without trying, this is the ultimate Rocket. Some would say there is no substitute for cubic inch's and at 3.0L I am guessing the claimed 700 bhp is possible out of one of those ST Mondaneo engines.
V6 Rocket is an all new chassis design, all beefed up and ready to take plenty of torque. Geometry is completely up graded from the original, less twitchy at high speed, better roll control, improved camber gain, reduced bump steer, lowered axis, extended wishbones and a short steering rack complete with adjustable coil over shocks. It has the long slow bend on the top tubes running full length tip to toe, very easy on the eye. Easy on the elbows too as this chassis is wider so you don't need to test your funny bones!
Please bear in mind that I would not offer for sale a kit that has not been fully tested and proven, that approach is sadly all too common in the kit car industry, not from MEV though. This kit carries the same geometry and chassis form as our MKII Rocket which has now been through vigorous testing of all components, suspension, brakes, steering, cooling and settings etc. I have driven it in anger on a private test facility in Europe and can say I was delighted
For the V6 we have specified springs to suit the slightly heavier engine. Actually the engine itself is only 140 kg so it is about the same as a Zetec 4 pot ! I do enjoy looking at that V6 in the chassis, it looks well at home.

New front 4 pot Willwood calipers/pads/drilled and grooved discs/bearings/studs/Al hubs/grease caps/track rod ends/Al front uprights, ball joints, Al crush tubes and a poly bush set in blue to match 4 blue road springs with Pro-tech shocks. Used rear calipers with new hubs, bearings and Al uprights.
We will even throw in a pair of GRP seats, a lighting set including headlights and rear LED units, a nut bolt and screw pack, alloy floor and bulkheads, wing stays and 4 grp wings (colour choice) and even an alloy engine cover to get you through IVA plus a bonnet plate with grille exit for radiator air flow.

We will include a pedal assembly with SERVO and master cylinders with reservoirs and clutch pedal too! The steering rack (complete with mounts and control arm extensions) is included and so is the steering column with easy to wire switch gear. They are already mated together so no messing and there is no need for a centre bearing for the column which can restrict self centring.
It needs an exhaust back box, gear cables, battery, ecu, harness, tank, radiator, seat belts etc. Chassis is now finished complete with engine mounts, just the suspension to finish, that will be done next week.
