For those that are not aware, this is the low cost kit from MEV £50 thats all. But you dont get any bits! What you do get is the plans and tech info to build yourself a very economical single seat fun car type thing. It's a massive 75 pages long! We give you a set of draftsman drawings to work from and a list of parts and suppliers plus all the details you need to know such as gear ratio's, battery options, steering ackerman, castor, road legalities, charging, fabrication guide, gear ratio guide, etc, etc. MSVA relevant sections now included. Then you build one and tell us all about it. Or if you're one of the 200 or so out there that has started one, then please let us see how you are getting on by posting on this forum. YOU CAN SEND £50 TO OUR PAYPAL ACCOUNT WHICH IS NAMED INFO@MEVLTD.CO.UK WE WILL THEN SEND THE 75 PAGES VIA EMAIL PDF THE SAME DAY. Attachments:

Of course you are more than welcome. Just let me have your credit card details! It would be great to see a race with these things on a kart track or the MEV track one day. They are brill fun.

Perhaps this is a stupid question, but that hasn't stopped me in the past.
Are the plans for the mark 1 version, or the mark 2 as shown in the Feb issue of the KitCar magazine, please?
Cheers Dave

The plans are for the MKI version but the only difference being that we used 2 rear wheeels and square tube on the MKII. So I include a pic of the twin rear wheel but advise it is easier to go as per MKI. The twin wheel was just to get extra traction for a drag motor I was testing. I used off the shelf kart parts for this axle. Now also included is all the information from the 47 relavant pages of the MSVA inspection manual. We will have a one piece GRP body available soon for about £200 including a built in seat. Pics soon.

Looking to build one for US highway use, how do you think she would handle with 96v and 75 to 80 mph?

Here is a very short clip of mine doing 65mph. It is very stable but it feels like your doing 165. The centre of gravity is below the axles so you can imagine it handles well.
