I reckon John Gilbert or you Trident should start a business to finish kit cars or build them for customers. Mate that's a very nice comment to make and I appreciate your kind words but it's taken me about three and a half years to get to where I am now and still not finished. I don't think it would be a very viable business. Mind you … No may be not. HaHa, agree nice comment. Let's see if we can get our cars IVA'd first. Trident, I'm on a 2 year timeline to retirement, so providing we both manage to finish our cars then never say never!

Big thank you to Snowbird (John) for getting my car running & sorting all the snags. Some of the items he sorted... Stripped harness Tidy wiring Improved fuel system hose routing Wings Fuel tank cover access, via bent tank & removal of reversing lamp Running motor... Just one snag I need to resolve at the moment, any suggestions on sorting the exhaust in the midlands ?

Today started measuring up and fitting nut caps and edging trim. Fitted black around headlamp brackets and white around the nose cone.
Already covered the suspension arms, measured up the wings and seats for white and red trim.
Do i need to cover the seat belt belt brackets, it's about 6mm plate ?

Read in IVA manual under Section 16 Exterior Projection. " 29. An exhaust tailpipe must not project beyond the floor line lying directly above it by more than 10mm, unless it terminates in a radius of curvature of at least 2.5mm and in all cases project no more than 150mm. In the case of side mounted exhausts the tailpipe must terminate no more than 50mm from the extreme outer edge of the vehicle. " so I've shortened the tailpipe and added a £4.95 Ebay tailpipe on the end.
Next job fuel tank shield, IVA compliant side marker & seal transmission tunnel...nearly done...

Side marker made out of a motorbike indicator, and a turned piece of tube to mount to a Rivenut in the chassis, turned down to indicator body diameter to avoid 2.5mm radius, male M8 thread one end of the tube, slotted on underside for cables and M10 tapped hole the other end to mount indicator. Thanks Noel !
