WARNING LONG POST!
What a brilliant day, a real milestone has been reached, it is great to know that this forum has attracted 3000 members so far. This brilliant resource gave them a reason to join, some go, some come back, some fulfill their dreams. It is a real pleasure helping oil the wheels. Tonight for me it is a time to kick back and revel in it all, look back at some wonderful memories and quietly laugh it all up.
Share my dream:
It's a cold damp night, I have a glass of JD, it's been filled a few times now. I'm sat on an old bike in the man cave, my wife's laptop resting on the dual clocks. I'm comfy and warm, my arms are full of tingles, so relaxed, so happy that the MEV story is epic. I started looking back to how it all started, I met a guy by a camp fire at the Newark kit car show years ago. A tall lad, a little over weight and very self opinionated, but very kind, guess who that was? We had too many sherbets that night but we chewed the fat and put the kit car world to rights. Some rubbish was talked about starting a MEV forum, I was having non of it, what a waste of time I proclaimed! Moving forward I recall being sat with some of the MEV lads at Stoneleigh back in 2007. We had a great laugh, it got late, I remember those red faces around the camp fire, big smiles, a happy bunch. A little drizzle came down that night but it didn't dampen the spirits, my mate Jack Daniels was with us yet again. We should be members of AA I hear you say, no not the Automobile Association. Just fun, no addictions, apart from cars. We told jokes, extracted the urine from each other and ate the remnants of the BBQ cooked 6 hours earlier! We got silly, laughing like school girls, seeing who could push a Rocket the fastest in the dark, hilarious. To the tents in the early hours, a good nights sleep required, a busy show come morning, lots of potential Moggers. We hugged when we parted the next day, a real camaraderie moment, we all wanted more, later that year we got more! Any excuse becomes another fun filled weekend, jokes, cars, good food, great friends, that is what Moggers are all about. But at my age I am looking for more luxury than a tent, sitting by that camp fire is fun but a nice dry bed is on my list. I can see it now, as clear as a picture, the camp fire, the red faces, the big smiles, shut your eyes, what else can you see? I see the product that needs adding to the MEV range, we all want one, I need one, is this just a drunken dream? I will get down to developing the vision I have in the morning, unless the light of day shuts off the light in my head!

Spit it out, one way or another, or else it might vanish - better to have an aide memoire than a hazy half memory of what might have been. Draw it, record a message to yourself, send yourself an email. I've lost count of my light bulb moments that have evaporated without trace.

Just in from work! Yes some of us have do something so that they can enjoy them selves as opposed to enjoying themselves doing something. Hmm posted 19hrs ago "The long post". So that would be what time in the middle of the night? Ahh yes of course he designs cars not beds. So the next MEV creation will be nick named the bedstead then or perhaps bedsled. All joking aside great milestone to reach. And thanks
