Hi all
In 2016 I am planning 2 trips. Current thoughts are central national parks in UK (Yorkshire Dales, Lake District, Peak District) and one foreign one later in the year maybe. More details to come but ideas are welcome and any help with planning.
Big 2016 Roadtrip Date for you diaries: 17th-20th JUNE 2016 (Meet Friday, head home late Monday). I know this is advance notice (I want to get in your diaries first) and I want to reduce the chance of excuses not to come, like I have a holiday planned, its raining etc...
Hope the pics of this years roadtrips will inspire more people to come to next years trips, its a great way to make new friends and put faces to other people you have probably interacted with on the forum. I will plan destination, co-ordinate pick-up/meeting points on route and look at options for Eurotunnel, Hotels, camping etc.
This is open to all kit car drivers (motorbikes and support vehicles), you can bring your mate/missus/kid, dog etc.
You can always choose your own accommodation to suit your pocket.
Bob

Shane you don't have to bring the wife but she is more than welcome as many people bring their partners including myself.
Guys do you really want to do Scotland again, its done. I thought northern/central England would be accessible for a lot more people and maybe we can get a even bigger convoy. The Dales and Peaks have some very good drivers roads and I am told the Lakes is quite good too.
BUT I cannot promise the weather, be prepared for rain, no such thing as bad weather just bad clothing.....

Hi Bob
Disappointed you don't want to do another Scotland road trip. I know the road up at Applecross was hard on the cars and the weather was not the best. Maybe the next time we can keep it to around central Scotland (A tour of the castles and other land marks perhaps) We could even of had a day at the Scottish car show but that's the same weekend as the AMM.
Cheers Andy

Don't get me wrong chaps I love going to Scotland and have been up almost every year for the past 8 years. Just want make sure we vary the trip and ensure some members from Southern England don't have a massive journey to the start point , we will do Scotland again for sure in the future.
