Hello,
I've been having a prod around the world of MEVs over the last couple of days whilst I battle some rot on my Eunos VR Ltd. Thought it wise to have a plan B.
Main question is around the differences between the UK and U.S. versions of the car. The U.S. version is allegedly 300% stiffer after some changes were made to tuning; were these changes also adopted in the UK?
I'd assume due to the differences in tubing the U.S. bodywork is not compatible with a UK car? This is just personal preference but I love the angular look of their offering - as well as the reduction in lift etc
Has anyone ever produced figures stating the torsional rigidity of either offering?
Has anyone in Europe ever imported a U.S. chassis? Might seem daft with the shipping costs - but the list of modifications they have carried out makes it appear, on paper at least, a better starting point for a more serious track car. Shipping doesn't have to cost the earth if some thought is put in.
Thoughts/opinions welcome.

There are several different versions of Exocet. The torsional rigidity needs to be considered with the sub frames mounted. We now use diagonal bracing to the engine bay which helps but the only way to close the "open box" seating area is to fit a full cage. I am not aware of any structural calculation figures that are made public. I can say that the tests we carried out showed our chassis to be well in excess of a 7 type chassis stiffness.

I'm also interested in more info about the US bodywork, is it available for the UK cars? Would there be IVA issues as it's more angular etc? For me the US styling ticks the right boxes, just wondering what options are available!

I don't think the bodywork is available as it was designed by the US franchise so they'll have the moulds.

They are struggling to to supply current US builders with body work so for now I guess you'll have to wait. It does look good but the back just don't look right same as our uk version.
