Evening,
Since seeing a replicar at cholmondeley I'm hoping to build one. I have called and spoken to Stuart about the process but while searching for a donor will once all the Iva stuff done be issued an age related plate or if the donor has a plate I want to keep is that an option ?
I searched a found a government document and looking at the points system the replicar won't be able to keep the donor vrm but does qualify for age related plate. I don't want one on a Q plate.
Is that right and has any one had a q plate issued ?
Thanks very much

You should be ok for age related. If donor has a cherished plate transfer it of to retention first.

If you use certain parts from the donor you should get a age related plate I think the amateur declaration form lists the parts that you need Engine transmission ect ect

Thanks for the replies, I've bought a donor and in process of stripping it down slowly.
Gwnwar - hmmmm strange, when I view the post my font is the same as the other posts, if it still looks different when others view let me know I haven't changed any posting options must be one of those computer quirks.
