Has anyone got any suggestions for mounting the radiator? I have used the original top mountings cut down and fixed to the top of the frame but struggling to find somewhere on the radiator to support the weight. Thanks.

Also, has anyone had to re drill the petrol tank in order to get it to fit? Decided to spray the tank to tidy it up.......... Not a good idea. The rubber coating on the tank has stopped the paint from curing and now it's like a sticky boiled sweet!

I painted my tank a couple of weeks ago, spent 30 mins with acetone to get the rubber/glue off first and it came up lovely.

Has anyone had to cut out the back of the dash mould to enable the fitting of the instrument cluster? Looking at cutting it out as it would sit very low otherwise.

You really mean Rotherham then I am originally from Ravenfield so know that part of the world quite well. I am progressing my build at the slowest rate I have ever done anything but once its built (you are only a 40 minute drive from my place in the Peak District) we'll have to meet up.

Also, did you remove the wiring ribon and tuck it back afterwards? I am cutting the individual holes out of the dash for a bit more of a 'period' look, thought I had got it spot on but realised that I had set it too high after I had drilled the holes! Got to try and make it work now. Thinking about cutting a hole in the top of the dash and hope that the body can cover it.

Instead of cutting the top of dash.. make a piece of alum with holes as needed and lower and make it go over toward the center of the dash and put your switches in it.. You could engine turn the alum too to look time period..
