Anyone else notice the continental balance has shifted toward North America in this forum? When I started my build (somewhat of a rarity...a UK-built frame in the US), every other post seemed to be discussing how to deal with draconian IVA regulations in the UK. Now all the posts are "Dude's build in (insert US state here)". It's interesting to watch things like this evolve.

I noticed that trend too, would be interesting to see some actual stats.
Will be a while before we take over in the southern hemisphere though!

Do we have a quantity of UK Exocets? I think we're approaching 100 operating stateside.

Stuart recently shipped chassis 500, so we're about 5 times ahead but much quieter on here...

I'm curious how long the Exocet has been on the market in the UK? I know it initially caught my attention about 3 years ago, but I'm also guessing it has been available there somewhat longer than that.
On the US side, my s/n 110 chassis should be ready to head to powdercoat early to mid March. No idea how many more beyond that are on order, but I'm guessing at least a few! I'm not hearing of an order slowdown here, put it that way.

I agree the balance seems to have shifted. This is good as the more forum members the better for all of us. More build's, more idea's and more sources of potential help.
Would make a good TV programme, ship two exo's from the States and have a trackday against two UK cars, then ship two UK cars to the States and a second show down!
I'm happy to go if a TV company is paying!

There is only one thing that can be done here regarding the attempted coup by the Americans to take over the status of top Exocet ownership numbers, do what we do in NZ. When counting the number of medals won at international sporting events such as the Olympics or the number of sheep we have to "choose from" we measure results by population ratio. So throwing some figures at it - Country Population Exocets Pop/Exocet UK 64,000,000 500 128,000 NZ 4,500,000 6 750,000 USA 319,000,000 110 2,900,000 So there you have it based on these figures there are almost 3 million people queuing up for a ride in the 110 Exocets in America compared to only 128,000 queuing to get a ride in in a British Exocet. That's like comparing the queues at Disneyland to those at Alton Towers. And, who would have believed it, New Zealand is second on this poll - wow. If only we can get Tom to shift around 30 more and we will be world leaders
