Is there any catering on like last year as Dave popped down there today with Jamie and the catering lady said that it was not booked for that day

I'm now thinking it's pointless trailering the car to curborough and not using the track...although I won't be as enthusiastic as other drivers (mainly carbonBob!). Will I be ok to pay on the day please? I notice there is a final cut off for applicants but I need to ensure the car is totally complete before i can commit to paying £40 for an event but then not being able to make it if im not finished, im only concerned as iva is one week after curborough! Many thanks in advance. Wayne.

You can drive the track at your own pace anyway the Iva man will race your car around checking the self centering ect

Does the engine run? Do the brakes work? Seats and harness in? Generally safe? Steering ok?
Then track it :-)

Wayne You can certainly pay on the day. I would suggest like others to use it as a shakedown opportunity. Bob

Wayne, if you have IVA a week later you would be crazy not to go and run it round the track.
You will be able to give it a good shakedown and have lots of eyes to look over it for potential failure points.
In fact you could run a comp between laps and let folks IVA it, to see who picks up anything. Hopefully nobody will find fault of course.
Take a load of tools, trim and anything else you can carry and you should then be able to rectify any points needing attention.
With shakedown drives and a couple of dozen pairs of expert eyes I would expect nothing less than a first time IVA pass.

I plan on coming along as a spectator but note in one of the posts it says the gates may be locked once action starts, can someone give a rough indication from what time they are likely to be locked?

Clarification to Booking and Payment Numbers.
We have a limit off 30 track places. Once there taken there taken so to speak. So if there all booked prior to the 18th then, unless somebody drops out or doesn't turn up you will not be able to just pay on the day to go on the circuit. However if we are not full (30 cars booked) then yes you can pay on the day.
Hope that clarifies.
