Don't miss this massive show guys. A real treat for petrol heads. You will find an Exocet in the club racing area and an electric MEV in the engineering show on stand 882-884 on the 8-9th. On this stand you will also be able to try out "Virtual welding" A 50k rig for hands on attempts at a perfect mig weld via simulator. Ask for Dave, let him know you are a MEV owner so you can let you queue jump.

The newly cleaned and colour changed MX150R will be on the 5Club racing stand (7431 and 7433) all weekend. It now boasts a new toy under the bonnet which has increased the power by 50%!! (So long as the panels and wheels are sorted in the morning!!) Come have a look around it if you're going.

Bit disappointed with the show.
Think it's down to the fact that I've been going now for the past 4 years and the LIVE show hasn't really changed much.
There were also more stalls than usual that don't really have any real motorsport relevance.
I think I'll be giving it a miss next year, far to expensive for what you actually get.

Yes it was a lot different this year not much for the kit cars

It's not a kit car orientated show and never has been.
I don't think it was any different to last year or the previous 3 years that's the problem.
If your going for the first time then you would have loved it like I did the first time.
Just not enough of a change to warrant £88 for 2 tickets then add on hotel and petrol money.
I'm just a bit miffed as this is probably one of the few shows I'll be able to make it to this year due to work and I was expecting a bit more.

Sorry it was not up to expectations. I decided not to exhibit as we have loads of orders that will keep us busy until Stoneleigh and beyond, by the way Stoneleigh is the only kit car show this year so please try and make that one. I hope to see you all in the MEV owners area and in the bar for the Sunday evening disco and band.

I sincerely hope I am wrong and Donny is on but if it is not going ahead then we can put heads together and find a new excuse to get out in our cars for a group run. Maybe the loss of some shows will turn in to a good thing, one door closes... Shows are good for promoting sales but sales are about kit cars being built and people from all walks of life getting together for a good time. Parked up in a field at Donny is a little tame for my taste but a long trip is not my cup of tea either. I will start a thread, I have an invite for you peeps.
