Hello All,
Sorry to maybe ask some dumb questions but I'm picking up my new rocket in a few days and I wondered whether anyone can point me in the direction of some good driver to passenger helmet intercoms and, more importantly, does anyone know of any covers to protect the car if you don't have a garage? I'm REALLY going to need one.
Hope to meet a few of you soon,
Dave
P.S. There is no wet weather gear for the Rocket right?

There is no wet weather gear. Use one of those Argos car covers, it should do the job but these cars are best kept in the garage for security etc.
No idea about intercoms. Sorry.
Welcome to the club. Hope to see you at the shows and maybe roadtrips?
Which rocket did you buy? Any pics.
Bob

Have a look on e-bay for bike intercomms.
I got a couple of BT bluetooth sets for £60. You can join as many units as you want and they also allow answering the phone or listening to music.

Hi I use an Autocom Air, it all fits inside your helmet and is Bluetooth. I have a tR1ke and you can have a conversation at any legal speed. Andy

Heck those are cheap, are they any good at motorway speed.

Not tested on the motorway but perfect for normal road use.
I imagine the quality of the helmet and it's padding will be a big factor in any of these systems.
But these things connect to my smart phone for calls and music so I don't have to listen to the wife moaning about how cold she is...

Thanks, at that price I might just give them a try, I'm more interested in connecting to the sat nav than music.
I imagine wind curtain on the helmet chin bar would help though might cause visor misting.
