The Personal Messaging (PM) facility on this forum has had to be restricted for new Members (Newbies) until they have made at least 20 posts, due to the amount of PMs being received by long standing, knowledgeable staff from new members attempting a short cut to a quick answer. This doesn't prevent established Members from contacting Newbies or from entering into a PM discussion with them once it is initiated by the 20+post Member.
Therefore should a new Member wish to enter into a PM discussion with an established Member, they will have to publicly draw this fact to their attention and await initial PM contact.
