Hi guys I'm new to the forum but I have been closely following Adams triabusa build. I met Paul at RTR in october and decided i had to have a trike! My dad has agreed to go halfs on it with me so were currently planning and saving before we order next year. I have a couple of questions (I'm sure there will be many more in good time!) Does anyone have the dimensions of the triabusa chassis, a local powder coater can only do items up to a moderate size? how does the electric reverse work? Many thanks

Hello mate I guess at the moment there's only two people who can give you the dimensions. Me and RTR . I'll try and get measurements tomorrow for you. You could always get RTR to powder coat it before delivery. As for the reverse its bolted to the chassis and you control it with a dash mounted button. Cheers Ads

The reverse is a car starter motor as adam said, it bolts to the rear left chassis upright. It comes supplied with a gear with an internal thread that replaces the front sprocket nut. The starter motor engages with it when you press the button. For best performance use a battery capable of continuous load, not the bike battery.

Thanks Adam, were planning on powder coating the rear swing arm and rear wheel at the same time as the chassis so they're all the same colour . I Suppose I could just send them up to RTR and ask them to do it at the same time for an additional fee.
Slugshot (Kevin?)That's a good point about the battery, i've been looking at a few options - does anyone on here run a Lithium car battery?
Thanks, Al

I guess it all depends on the colour you are choosing. As long as you have the Ral colour you should be ok. I'll get this dimensions today.

It's crash damaged but runs fine - as a biker i could'nt quite bring myself to tear apart a perfectly good bike! you'll notice the front wheel is not strait. frame is cracked on the front end, forks bent and fairing damaged.

Thanks Adam, I'll hold off starting a build thread for a while - i have a savings account that matures in September that i'll use to buy the kit (unless my Dad gets impatient and decides to lend me my share of the build costs!). Were hoping to make it to the kit car show in May - with a bit of luck and persuasion he might get excited and want to start early :-)
