Not only does it look better but will clearly retain more stiffness in the main tub.

Just a little note I'd like to add. I was pleasantly surprised at how solid the doors were and while I wont claim they have the shut sound of a Audi or VW they were refreshingly solid for a fiberglass kit car I must say. nigel

I was also very impressed with the solution to my original door question. Stoneleigh was the first time I had seen the Replicar in the flesh, it looks so much larger then its donor.
