looks like a good read and I may well pick it up soon. Has the thought of producing a single donor kit crossed your thoughts? Of course it has Thinking MX5 obviously where you take a successful kit (the Exocet for layout and bodywork) and a successful donor (for seats, clocks, suspension, steering, brakes etc etc)and marry them together for an "Electrocet"? I supply the donor, you supply the kit. The builder can pick up the electrics along the way as budget allows.

"electrocet" love it. I have just completed an EV project for a Chinese firm. It has 2 rear mounted hub motors and a large capacity Li set. Over 15kwh. My next ev will be a 4 seat car with roof. Early designs are looking more 2+2 but time will tell. I am looking for 90 ft lbs motor torque and may use a diff and cush drive to the rear wheels. Will keep you posted.

Doesn't a 2x2 bring you to Tesla sized/priced battery packs? from this point you could reconsider adding a diesel generator and reduce batterie volume as like the EBR racing bike has as has future scooter. The tR1ke could be converted to e-power too. Reading the advertise makes me wonder if it is worthwile to order both books. just a thought br, Erik

Stuart, contact Darus at sales@zelectricvehicle.com They have a oil cooled 20 KW hub motor mounted in a rim that out performs a belt driven frame mounted motor and saves space in the frame for more batteries. Look here for one of their converted Suzuki Burgman 400 frames and bodys zelectricvehicle.com/22.html . That said, I will be sending you a Paypal payment for a set of E-Trike plans very soon. I will PM you.

Hi,
have just found this this site and trike after some fairly random searching but really like the look of the trike with the larger wheels. This would fit in fairly well with what I'm looking to do but with a few mods to suit what I want.
what I'd like to know is if the plans you sell give details of the suspension, hubs and brakes etc for the larger wheels?
Many thanks
Andy

the hubs/suspension are from a KLF quad bike and the wheels and rear swing arm are from a 125 motorcycle. These needed plates making to adapt them to bolt on the front hubs.
