Four of us are building a Mevabusa, father and three sons in Cambridgeshire. So far we have fitted the brake pedals, floor, suspension and steering rack and are about to embark on gluing bits together to connect the steering column.
Our most used tools so far have been a range of hammers.
As there are four of us quality control is tops ('cept when we riveted on the floor without using any sealant first time round!)
We are all mechanical newbies and so decided to rebuild a moped while waiting for the kit to arrive. It unfortunately defeated us as it turned out to be quite allergic to hammering. Anyone wanting a box containing a disassembled Kymco agility 50 please let me know.
Number one son is Mevcovster and he has already put up a query on the board. So there will be two builders talking about the same car.
Hello everyone
Mark

Hi Half the fun drilling holes in the wrong place, fitting stuff upsidedown and back to front - isn't it? Not many of us mevabusa owners about, welcome to the dark side.............

Hi Half the fun drilling holes in the wrong place, fitting stuff upsidedown and back to front - isn't it? Not many of us mevabusa owners about, welcome to the dark side............. Thanks Matty nice to be here. I have given our potted build notes in the mevabusa section. I have omitted owning up to the extra holes drilled as I want to keep our increased power to weight ratio a surprise.
