I initially assumed that if I ordered the accelerator pedal from RTR it would be a good fit and should work well with the Willwood pedal box they supplied. This was a wrong assumption. The pedal is not what I would have expected and looks really naff when put alongside the others. A bit of a disappointment. So I have done as most others have and made contact with The Joker. A new Pedal has now been ordered and I should have this by the end of the week. why are you surprised about receiving a naff product from RTR? its seeming to become the norm now.. Any readers including mods take that as you will..

Hi, Just been reading your build thread and found you are in exactly the same position as I am. Good to follow all the same problems I too have encountered. I have also ordered the pedal and shifter from Joker as you say the RTR part is not that great.
If you have a look at my build you'll see I have also opted for the enclosed front floor. I have also enclosed the rear. whether or not it gets used is another thing......
Looking good so far.
I will follow your build and hopefully be able to pinch a few tips along the way.
Regards Ross

Hi Ross
Good to hear from you. I'll take a look at your build thread later when I get the chance. It will be good to have someone to bounce ideas etc off.
Where are you based?

Meant to ask you if when you fitted the pedal assy that the front needed to be a few mm lower than the rear of the assy to allow it to line up with the bulkhead correctly?

Hi Ross
I didn't set mine lower at the front. I used a spacer to lower the unit to give clearance but I used the same size spacer front and rear. Not sure if ill have problems at a later stage and have to change this
