still was just below 100db.this was measured with the tr1ke inside my big tin box garage and the door open. This is an incredible reading, especially in a tin garage! The cynic in me tells me the iphone app is far from accurate... guess we'll find out on Thursday!

I would be amazed if the iphone app is anywhere near accurate

Good news and bad. Revving the tr1ke to 10500 it's over the noise limit. Revving it to 9500 it's at 104db. So as long as we all say maximum revs is 13000 we should be ok. The noise tester man asked what is maximum rpm then looked up on a chart. I'm still thinking about some sound deadening panels around the engine and maybe some extra exhaust tips pointing at the ground. As the noise meter can't go underground to measure it, I'm hoping this will deflect enough to keep noise level down. I have made enquiries about getting another map done which would be switchable and limit revs to whatever I need. Seems like, if we are sensible and don't scream around red lining in every gear, we may be ok

That's fairly good news Paul, I think I will go ahead and book at least the 11.45 slot. I have a sound meter so may play around before booking another.

I have just tried to book a track slot for 11.45 and on the booking form it doesn't exist, any pointers for an old man.

I also see that the track pass price has been increased to £25 from the £20 quoted here.

You're bothered about £5....I've just spent a good bit more than that, and a few nights doing the mod to get mine to pass the 100db limit for them to change it to 105db Would you like me to have a whip round for you

I also see that the track pass price has been increased to £25 from the £20 quoted here. The price has always been £25. However if we the MEV Owners book a complete 28 car 'Exclusive MEV Track Session' then we can get it for what works out as £20 each, so I'll ask again who's interested, because if I can get enough interest then I'll book one. nigel

Come on boys we need a lot more than this. Ok its going to cost you a bit more for those that are going to camp, but if your closer enough to drive there and back in the day. It'll only going to cost you £20 to spend all day at the show soaking up the atmosphere and getting out on circuit for a session with other Mev enthusiasts, an absolute must for first timer's. There is simply no where else, that I know of anyware, that you can do this for this price.
Where are all the Exocet and Rocket owners? I've lost count of how many exocet's Stuart has sold must be in excess of 500 now and there must be at least 50 to 100 plus on the road so come on show your support.
